NATO Edge conference final agenda announced

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) will host NATO Edge: Technology in Focus, the flagship conference, from 25 to 27 October at the Lotto Mons Expo in Mons, Belgium.


The three-day conference will focus on the technologies, innovations and partnerships required to sharpen NATO's technological edge. NATO Edge will highlight the NCI Agency's support to NATO and feature the Agency's work on topics such as emerging and disruptive technologies (EDTs), artificial intelligence (AI), space technologies, cyber security and more.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from and speak to leading NATO and industry speakers, as well as take part in discussions on digital transformation, IT infrastructure transformation, secure online collaboration and more.

Highlights from the NATO Edge agenda include:

  • An opening address by Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium;
  • A panel and fireside chat with Mircea Geoană, NATO Deputy Secretary General;
  • A keynote address from NCI Agency General Manager Ludwig Decamps;
  • A keynote address from David Van Weel, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges;
  • A data and analytics manifesto laid out by ex-intelligence analyst Dr. Helen Greenhough;
  • A panel discussion on agility in defence acquisitions and procurement featuring speakers from NATO, the European Defence Agency and more;
  • The winning pitches from the fall 2022 edition of the NATO Innovation Challenge.
