"The NCI Agency is now in a position to engage with industry to get the best possible prices for the renewal of its software and hardware support licenses. By taking apart a single agreement into multiple pieces and allowing for a partial contract award, we expect that more companies will be able to take part in the competition. This is an important opportunity for cost savings for NATO, and the Agency looks forward to evaluating industry's proposals," said Mantas Vedrickas, NATO Cyber Security Centre Resource Manager.
The Agency anticipates issuing the formal Request for Quotation (RFQ) in February 2021, and awarding a contract by the end of March.
This competition is being conducted under the Basic Ordering Agreements Plus (BOA+) Programme. The BOA+ Programme maximises the participation of interested and eligible firms by allowing bids from both BOA holders, and non-BOA holders nominated by the delegations through Declarations of Eligibility (DoE).
