The visit provided an opportunity for the EUROCONTROL delegation to learn more about the NCI Agency's work across NATO, exchange expertise, and deepen collaboration between the two organizations.
Following a briefing by the NCI Agency Chief of Staff, the delegation was presented with an exhibition of navigation warfare and counter drone technologies. Following that, the delegation was given an overview of the Air and Missile Defence Command and Control (AMDC2), and Joint Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (JISR) Centres. NCI Agency experts finally informed on the NATO Software Factory including a short demonstration and the Combined Federated Battle Labs Network (CFBLNet).
Discussions between representatives also touched on the Agency's role in enabling NATO's counter-drone interoperability and the NATO Regional Airspace Security Programme (RASP).
"We were happy to host Major General Stoye and his delegation at our campus in The Hague. With airspace operations becoming increasingly challenging, our partnership with EUROCONTROL has proven to be key for the success of our Regional Airspace Security Programme," said Major General Hans Folmer.
EUROCONTROL is a pan-European, civil-military organization dedicated to supporting European aviation. The Agency enjoys a long-standing relationship with EUROCONTROL dating back to 2003, buttressed by the continued cooperation of both organizations on the RASP and a predecessor programme.
